alternator reman process

At the beginning of reman serial production each alternator is dismantled completely. All components will be washed, cleaned and degreased. An electrical and mechanically inspection of all parts is following. Damaged components will be replaced by new ones. Wear parts will always be replaced.

Afterwards all parts will be assembled to a complete alternator. Quality controls are made on each level of this reman process. Each alternator is finally inspected on most modern and fully computerised testing machines.

  • pulley:
    visual and mechanical inspection. renewed in case of defect.
  • bearings:
    100% replaced by new ones
  • rotor:
    surface will be cleaned and grinded. slip rings will be dressed to size or completely renewed in case of undercuting minimum dimensions. afterwards and elektromechanical inspection will follow.
  • stator:
    surface will be cleaned and grinded. visual and electrical inspection.
    100% replaced by new ones in case of defect.
  • regulator:
    visual and electrical inspection. basically 100% of brushes will be replaced. in case of defect regulators are completely renewed.
  • diods/rectifier:
    visual and electrical inspection. in case of defect rectifier will be replaced.
